MONETARY DONATIONS~
Monetary Donations are the driving force of our organization! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated with distemper/parvo and rabies innoculations, wormed, and tested for heartworm and lymes disease. Sometimes their tests come back positive for such things, and further medical action must be taken. Its hundreds of dollars to treat a heartworm positive dog. Many of these dogs have spent the majority of their lives living outside on a chain or stuck in a pen, never recieving vaccinations or preventatives for fleas, worms and ticks. It takes one single mosquito bite to transfer heartworm to an un-protected dog. Just one. Dogs Deserve Better is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, and we rely on donations from animal lovers like you to get our rescues dogs healthy. On top of the vetting costs, we have to purchase dog food, dog dishes, toys, grooming supplies, bedding, crates and kennels, rugs, blankets, collars, leashes and treats. ANY donation of any of the above items or monetary donations are welcomed! All donations are tax deductable!
